Registration Policies

Registration Policies

*Registration/enrollment in any of our classes, workshops or birthday parties means that you have read and agree to the following Registration Policies. Please also review all of our Liability Waiver. We reserve the right to change this policy at any time, so please check back for the most up to date policies.

Participation Policies

  • Detailed class descriptions can be found on our homepage. Our studio is a processed based art and sensory play studio meaning the process of art-making is emphasized over the final product. We are not a fine arts studio and children may not always bring home art pieces. Please read our 'start here' page for more details.
  • Parents/Caregivers are required to attend class with their child unless noted in the class description
  • Parents/Caregivers are responsible for their child at all times
  • If minimum enrollment is not met, we reserve the right to cancel the class and a full refund will be issued to those enrolled.
  • Completed registration means that you have read, understood and agreed to our Liability Waiver and Registration Policies.
  • Children must have reached the minimum age requirement on the date of the first class.
  • Once you have enrolled, transfers between classes are possible provided space is available in the class you wish to transfer to.
  • We reserve the right to require parents/caregivers to withdraw a child from the class (or decline a family from enrolling) for overly disruptive or unsafe behavior. Children are expected to follow directions, respect materials and other students in the class. Harm caused to other children, their caregivers, or studio materials/property will not be tolerated.
  • Parents are responsible for picking up their child promptly at the end of class (applies to drop off classes only).
  • CLOTHING: Please make sure your child is dressed in clothing that can get messy. We allow children to get totally immersed in their artwork and do not provide smocks since they tend to be restrictive. We recommend wearing old clothing dedicated to art exploration, as materials used vary from class to class. While we do our best to always use washable paints and dyes, it does not always wash out. We are not responsible for any clothing or personal items that are stained or damaged during class. Furthermore, please always have your child wear suitable footwear. Shoes are required at all times. Close toed shoes are encouraged.
  • FOOD: We ask that you please limit eating of table foods during class and do not share food with other participants. We take food allergies very seriously, which is why we ask food consumption to take place outside of class whenever possible. Breastfeeding is ok at any time!

        Illness Policy

        • We have a strict no illness policy. If you have ANY signs of illness of any kind please do not attend your class or workshop. Children must be fever free and illness free for 48 hours (this includes all symptoms) before returning to/attending a class, party or event. If anyone living in your household or someone you have come in contact with is experiencing Covid-19 symptoms, please do not attend class.
        • While we clearly state our illness policy and expect parents to adhere to it, some parents do not. Please note that you and your child are participating at your own risk and we assume no responsibility if you or your child catches germs or illness in our studio classes.
        • We reserve the right to ask a parent and child to leave if they appear sick.

Make-Up Policy for On-Going Classes (does not apply to pop-up classes)

          • If you miss a class due to illness, please reach out via email to see if there is space available to drop into another class. We do not guarantee that there will be space available, so please do your best to attend all of your regularly scheduled classes. There are no refunds for missed classes and make-up classes are non-transferable to future semesters and must be made up in your currently enrolled semester. Make-ups are not transferrable to pop-ups or specialty workshops.
